Roses Roses Everywhere....

Thanks to all the sun and heat, my roses are coming out in full force.... I must have over 500 cecils above the garage, and my rose garden is blooming like crazy. My David Austin roses are

finally starting to bloom this year, as they were newly planted last summer.

The cabbage roses are my favorite....And as you can tell, pink is my choice for roses.

 I hope you enjoyed these roses as much as I am...

We just finished this beautiful Romantic Roses carved settee.

Upholstered in an oatmeal 13 oz. Belgian Linen, finished with antique style nail head trim

the cushion is 100% down filled

the cover has a zipper for easy removal.

The paint is a medium to dark dolphin gray color, with

a distressed finish.

French Furniture for White Wednesday

New Inventory for this White Wednesday...

I have been working on some great new pieces...

Wonderfully carved furnishings that are the classic 

Full Bloom Cottage style.

Through out the years my style has evolved, and I definately set the standard

for what I buy for my store.  

I always say "I wouldn't buy something that I wouldn't want

for my own home."

With the mix of my paint colors, and paint techniques, I was able

to create "new painted" antiques that have

the "old painted" look.  

My classic colors are the whites, and oysters, and my new adventure in paint colors

are the dark grays.  Sometimes a contrast in color is needed, especially in an all white room.
