This is one of my favorite stores... If you are not lucky enough to have an Anthropologie near you, visit their online store. Their antique farm cabinets, and one of a kind pieces are incredible. The clothes are my favorite.
I wanted this curtain from the moment I laid eyes on it. But the dealer said"Its not for sale." I still want it, and hope that I will get it. I stare at it everytime I go into the antique store!
I was inspired this morning by my friends home Tim & Lisa. They use alot of architectural pieces along with beautiful antique finds. Im always amazed at how soft and pretty all white is. I love the original finishes, and patinas of old statues and furnishings. Im always going back and forth on what I should do, and I am constantly changing. I will love something, and promise to never let it go, and 90days later its out the door. Its nice to get a mix between architectural and romantic. Look at some of these photos Soft and pretty, some of my favorite pictures to look at. I will share some of their antique finds with you as well.
I just wanted to share with you, some photos of my clients dining room that I finished. I reupholstered these chairs in a natural linen, and slip covered the seats in a natural linen ruffle cushion. Available on my website.. Just in time for the holidays.
Just thought I would show you our beautiful side of Davenport, when I had a pretty feminine room. Most of the furnishings are all sold, but there are still some pretty french antiques there to see! Just wanted to share. Enjoy the photos below! -Loretta
I just had to add these photos to my blog, this is the home of Lauren Ross, a desiner in Texas. Her home is one of my favorites. She uses white linen slip covers, romantic lighting, and european antiques to dress her home.
I am always amazed how busy it gets in November. Everybody is scrambling to get things together for the Holidays. I am always so busy, making slip covers, and pillows, or painting that fabulous French piece!
I took one day off this month to meet Rachel Ashwell, at a local book signing. If you havent purchased her new book, I would! It is full of inspirational photos!

" I have bought several gorgeous pieces of furniture from Loretta, I would have to say she has helped furnish three quarters of my home! If I'm asked what would be my favorite piece I wouldn't be able to choose. The armoire is just incredible, the detailing on it is so unique, the chandelier in my dining room is to die for! My armiore in my bedroom is just perfect, I love waking to it every morning. Not to mention all the other pieces! I'm always anticipating what she's going to have next, and what new piece of furniture that I will be adding to my home!" Rebecca -A French Home in NY
