Welcome to my Friday Flea Market...

If you have ever been to a flea market, you know what it is like... I decided to try it once, and let me tell you, I will never do it again. We had to wake up at 2:00AM, drive down there, to wait in line for 3 hours, to get into our spot, and it took 2 hours to unload, and set up.
Here are photos of our space
We took our large furniture truck loaded with all of this beautiful inventory
(99% of this is sold already, in case any one asks)

I have to say it was quite the experience. Our helper we hired did not show up, so I had to help unload all of this, and it was tiring. I never worked so hard in my life. I give alot of credit to the people who can do this every weekend. I met alot of wonderful new clients, and people from out of town, but if your local, you know where to find all of my fabulous finds.
Country Roads Antique
Old Town Orange, CA

It's hard enough hauling all the stuff to the store. But hauling it, unloading it, and displaying it on asphalt, listening to people insult you with low offers, then having to load up what doesn't sale, well. . .no thank you! But props to those that do this all the time!
Take care, Sue

going back from your archives and found something I own that I bought from the store over by Disneyland... the oil painting at the top of the armoire. It is now hanging in my master bedroom. It previously was in my guest room and if you click to my blog and then click thru to my house when it was featured on the old painted cottage, you can see it photographed in my home :)
