Have you ever tried a French Macaroon?

So... We have a new bakery
in town.

When I walked into the bakery I was
instantly intrigued by all the colorful
round shaped little cookies.
I had to get one...
On our way home my assistant and I ate the cookies
in the car... Holy cow...
I went back the next day to try a few different
flavors.
I have to say the salted caramel is the
best, but the hazelnut is not
too far behind..
If you get a chance to try one, please do!

  5. They look simply divine - the only way I am going to get to taste one in the UK is to make them myself :) x

  6. Funny you should ask. I had my first macaron yesterday from Laduree in NYC and have fallen head over heels. I couldn't believe how good they were! I had a green pistachio and a pink rose petal. They were both divine and nearly indescribable. Move over peach cobbler. These are now my favorite dessert!
