French Furniture for White Wednesday

New Inventory for this White Wednesday...
I have been working on some great new pieces...
Wonderfully carved furnishings that are the classic
Full Bloom Cottage style.

Through out the years my style has evolved, and I definately set the standard
for what I buy for my store.
I always say "I wouldn't buy something that I wouldn't want
for my own home."
With the mix of my paint colors, and paint techniques, I was able
to create "new painted" antiques that have
the "old painted" look.
My classic colors are the whites, and oysters, and my new adventure in paint colors
are the dark grays.  Sometimes a contrast in color is needed, especially in an all white room.
Enjoy some of the photos for our new inventory...

These are a set of 4 parsons chairs,
sold only as a set... They have wonderful
carvings, and are upholstered in a 13oz heavy belgian linen.

 Roses, roses, roses....
We love anything rose carved.
These below are a set of 4 cane back
roses carved chairs,
we had the seats reupholstered in a heavy oyster belgian linen,
with antique nailhead trim.

 Classic carved mirror
perfect for over your vanity, or you
entry way.

Single, Louis XVI Gold Gilded Chair
Toile tapestry, and original nailhead trim.

Last but not the least, I loooove this Louis XIV
desk, original wood patina
It is absolutely the perfect contract for your
romantic cottage...

Such beautiful pieces Loretta. I picked up a copy of Romantic Homes today and was so thrilled to see photos of your home. I've always thought you should be featured in a magazine with such a gorgeous home and store.
