I love anything with original cane. This beautiful old Louis XV Cane Desk came to us needing new life. An old brown two toned finish, we gave it new life, by painting it in this weathered
gray distressed finish. A special aging technique was applied to the paint finish, and the cane to make it blend with the paint.
I was breathless at the end result, ran around my entire home trying to see where I could put this desk.
sadly I have nowhere....
As my husband says, "you can't keep everything"
even though I try, especially the most fantastic pieces...
Which this is one of them...
Our new linen union jack pillow in natural and fog.
vintage edge perfectly tattered...
available at our online store...
Here's another great piece... A most perfect twin
cane bed with original Rose Swags
Original old cream paint.
Available online as well here.
Last but not least, I have this beautiful Gustavian
settee, in oyster white Belgian linen.
Perfect for any room.
Antique nailhead finish.
Available online here.

ReplyDeleteHi Loretta, I found you through your feature in Romantic Homes magazine. I had a couple of questions, and I apologize for asking them in your comments, but I couldn't find an email. I was just wondering what fabric you used on the brown and white trellis pillow pictured on the chair in your living room. I also wondered where you got the fabulous map sheets and the blue and white duvets that are pictured in the blue and white room? Thanks in advance!
