I don't think I have ever stopped to think about decorating for one second.... I have always done whatever I wanted and somehow or another it all works out in the end.. I buy what I love! I would never buy something just to paint it, and then resell it. I have to love it, and want to put it in my own home. In the past week it seems like the furniture is flying out the door, and again, I need to hurry and finish all my unfinished projects... All of this got me thinking about my favorite things, things that I have had, things that I've sold....Things I have right now that I would like to keep, but have no room in my own home...
This White Wednesday I would like to share with you some of my favorite things..
Enjoy!
Beautiful Architecture...
Beautiful Roses, Fresh Cut from my garden....
Old Leather Bound Books Stacked on a shelf
Seashells especially the White finger Starfish....
The perfect pale blue ocean oil painting that hangs in my hall....
The ship in a bottle on my sons nightstand....
Burning candles....
The carved roses on my furniture....
Again, bowls of seashells on every table.....
Last but not least, the 4 foot tall chandelier that hangs over my dining table...
thanks for visiting me this white wednesday, and sharing some of my favorite things...
I LOVE those "BLING FISH"...and that super duper awesome chandelier!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you what you said. Live with what you love.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of all the objects.

I am an absolute believer in buying only what you love...even if it seems "out of style" at the moment. I have things that I bought 20 years ago that I still love. I think there are pieces that enrich your life and become a part of "you" in a way.
ReplyDeleteLovely post- Diana
